Basic Function\nFor our global and dynamic Internal Audit team in Nootdorp, The Netherlands, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious (Senior) IT Internal Audit Professional, to be based at our office in Cape Town, South Africa.\nIn this role you have the opportunity to enjoy travelling (15-20%) together with a colleague and perform work in multiple locations worldwide. Primary Duties and Responsibilities\nYou manage and participate in (international) IT audit engagements, e.g. on business processes, organisations, projects and reporting processes;\nYou coordinate and conduct audit activities both from the office and during international assignments, working closely with Internal Audit colleagues, IT specialists and business stakeholders. Where you drive and lead the IT audit engagements;\nYou act as a sparring partner for local, regional and corporate management, providing independent insight into IT risks, controls and governance;\nYou suggest follow up activities for identified observations and present areas for improvements to bring processes within Fugro to a higher level;\nYou contribute to maintaining a high level of audit quality, with a focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of IT processes and controls;\nYou keep up to date with developments in areas such as cybersecurity, cloud, AI, data, digital transformation and IT governance, and incorporate relevant developments into audit activities;\nYou further develop your professional competencies and network across the organisation, gaining a broad understanding of the company and preparing yourself for future career opportunities.\n3. Education and Experience Requirements\nYou have a Master’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration;\nYou hold, or are working towards, a relevant professional qualification such as CISA, CIA, CISM, CISSP or CA (SAICA);\nYou have 7+ years of relevant working experience;\nPreferably, a proven track record of prior experience in internal auditing or “big 4” background;\nYou have a sound understanding of Internal Audit standards and you are in the possession of, or you are willing to obtain CIA;\nYou have strong written, communication and language skills in English;\nYou have the availability to travel for business.\nInternal work experience is a plus, but not considered a requirement. However cultural sensitivity is key. \n4.
