Reporting to the Capital Projects Group Manager / Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead project governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, procurement, validation and commissioning, and compliance through the full lifecycle.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn delivery of capital projects to baseline scope, schedule, budget and quality KPIs\n\nProactively manage, forecast and report project costs; contribute to monthly cost reports and Tier updates\n\nLead regular project progress meetings with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders\n\nManage the project risk register and mitigation plans; escalate safety, budget, schedule and quality risks\n\nOversee tender strategy and execution (for projects >£10k) with Procurement; evaluate bids and select vendors with SMEs\n\nEnsure compliance with all site procedures, quality standards and capital project processes\n\nLead validation and commissioning planning and execution with appropriate resources\n\nManage project communications across site operations, partners and third parties\n\nDrive closure of actions from HAZOP, HAZID, Safety Reviews and TQs without impacting schedule\n\nWhat you’ll bring\nDegree in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience)\n\nProven track record delivering capital projects in a regulated environment (biotech, pharma, chemicals, FMCG or similar)\n\nStrong cost control, forecasting and schedule management skills across full project lifecycle\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to chair multi-disciplinary meetings\n\nRobust understanding of CDM Regulations and duty holder responsibilities\n\nExperience with validation and commissioning in GMP or similarly regulated settings\n\nCompetence in procurement, tendering, vendor evaluation and contract administration (NEC/JCT exposure desirable)\n\nAbility to manage scope, change control, risk registers and project governance\n\nDiversity, equity and inclusion We are an equal opportunities employer.
