We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers\nJob Description\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nResponsible for the maintenance of all plant and lab, warehouse and office areas, site utilities and grounds under the direction of the Maintenance and Facilities Manager.\nProficiency in maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing various equipment, including:\n· Boilers\n· Air handlers\n· Chillers\n· Motors\n· Compressed Air Systems\n· Gearboxes and agitators\n· Piping systems\n· Electrical controls\n· DI water systems and Reverse Osmosis\n· Scales\n· Fans/blowers\n· Packaging Equipment\n· Pumps\nUse troubleshooting skills to recognize abnormal operating situations, system and equipment problems, and potential safety hazards. Identify root cause, recommend/ implement solutions that prevent recurring problems, and document failure analysis.\nSupport capital project installations\nAssist Maintenance and Facilities Manager in planning mechanical and electrical requirements for preventative maintenance programs and make recommendations for future repairs or replacements \nMaintain an appropriate and accurate inventory of mechanical and electrical spare parts, create and organize equipment files for building systems, and progress the necessary scheduled services for equipment maintenance. Maintain thorough documentation of repairs, including progressing parts and materials used for reorder.\nProficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.\nAttention to Detail: Accurate data entry and documentation. Thoroughness in following maintenance procedures.\nAbility to read a P&ID and identify the corresponding equipment.\nPerform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on equipment in the assigned areas including Inspections, general maintenance, and scheduled overhauls.\nUse analytical troubleshooting skills to recognize system and equipment problems, identify true cause, and recommend/ implement solutions that prevent problem reoccurrence.\nPerform and document work in compliance with SOP’s, Safety Health & Environment (SHE) standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) including work orders, PM’s, logbooks, and permits.\nDuties include piping installations and repairs for process and compressed air systems with various piping materials, PVC, stainless steel, ABS, polypropylene, etc.\nPerform installation for small size plant capital projects.\nOperate industrial forklifts and other motorized equipment as required.\nAbility to perform minor welding.\nEXPERIENCE\nHigh school degree or equivalent and minimum 2-4 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing plant.\nField experience and demonstrated proficiency in the following subject matter areas:\nMechanical maintenance of production equipment,\nUtility systems maintenance and repair\nStrong working knowledge of OSHA and GMP requirements as they pertain to maintenance activities throughout the plant.\nISO 9001 & 14001 compliance environment\nCompetent with mechanical and piping installations and repairs\nWorking knowledge of overall building operations relating to engineering/maintenance including pipefitting, welding, millwrighting, general carpentry work, painting, and general building construction \nGeneral understanding of instrumentation and process control systems maintenance.\nBasic computer skills include the use of standard office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and Computerized maintenance programs.\nMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions.\n CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS\nMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
