This role prepares production plans for assigned product families, monitors production status, customer orders, inventory, backlog, and potential material shortages, and coordinates with Operations, Logistics, and other functions to support timely production and delivery.\nThis is a 100% on-site position. We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers\nJob Description\nKey responsibilities for this role include:\nPrepare and publish monthly production schedules for assigned product families based on customer demand and business requirements.\nPlan raw material requirements and place purchase orders in support of assigned production plans.\nMonitor daily production status, customer orders, inventory, backlog, and potential material shortages.\nCoordinate with Shop Floor Control on production priorities and schedule requirements.\nMonitor distribution center requirements and inventory levels, identify potential issues, and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to resolve or escalate concerns.\nExpedite materials as necessary to support production requirements.\nCoordinate with Logistics on shipments to support timely customer deliveries while minimizing shipping costs.\nTrack returnable containers across multiple product lines and global locations to support customer demand and production requirements.\nUtilize ERP/MRP systems to support production and raw material planning and maintain accurate planning information.\nTrack and coordinate disposition of discrepant materials.\nSupport import/export, order processing, customer inquiries, invoice coding, and freight forwarder coordination as needed.\nREQUIREMENTS\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.\n0-3 years of related experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing. Relevant internship or co-op experience may be considered.\nBasic knowledge of MRP, production planning, inventory management, and supply chain principles.\nExperience with or exposure to an ERP/MRP system.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret data.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential material, inventory, or scheduling issues.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Procurement, and other business partners.\nAbility to work independently on assigned responsibilities while seeking guidance or escalating more complex planning issues as appropriate.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSAP experience.\nInternship, co-op, or other experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience or exposure to chemical, specialty chemical, semiconductor materials, or other process manufacturing environments.\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nWe value a professional, adaptable, and collaborative work environment.
