Join us to shape how our Billingham manufacturing site sources and partners with suppliers. As a Sourcing & Procurement Manager, you’ll deliver measurable value across a £60m spend portfolio-optimising cost, quality, service, risk and supply continuity-while integrating site needs with regional and global procurement strategies.

What you’ll do

• Lead cost-saving initiatives and sourcing projects across assigned spend categories.
• Partner with regional and global Procurement to leverage scale and secure optimal solutions.
• Engage stakeholders across the site to build buy-in and deliver value-focused outcomes.
• Create value with external partners (e.g., reduced lead times, improved payment terms, innovative supply solutions).
• Apply approved tools, systems and methodologies in day-to-day sourcing and buying.
• Implement supplier performance management processes and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Champion compliant buying and contracting processes and support audit readiness.
• Track category trends, conduct market research and communicate key insights and risks.
• Build strong relationships with functional teams to understand and prioritise business needs.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with strategic and higher-risk suppliers.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ procurement experience with a track record in sourcing and commercial negotiations.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts and terms with high-risk suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management, supplier relationship, communication and negotiation skills.
• CIPS Level 4 (or actively studying towards it).

• Strong knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing and supplier performance management.
