The role requires close collaboration with SOC teams, infrastructure teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to minimize business impact and improve the organization's security posture. Responsibilities align with the CSIRT lifecycle, including Preparation, Detection & Analysis, Containment, Eradication & Recovery, and Post-Incident Activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nIncident Response & Handling\nMonitor, validate, and investigate security incidents escalated from SOC and other sources.\nPerform incident triage, classification, prioritization, and impact assessment.\nLead technical investigations and coordinate incident response activities.\nExecute containment, eradication, and recovery activities.\nTrack incidents through their entire lifecycle until closure.\nEnsure incidents are handled within defined SLAs.\nDeep Investigation\nPerform host, network, and log-based forensic investigations.\nCollect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence.\nIdentify root causes and attack vectors.\nDocument investigation findings for management and audit requirements.\nThreat Analysis & Threat Intelligence\nAnalyze Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), TTPs, and threat actor activities.\nCorrelate threat intelligence from internal and external sources.\nRecommend preventive and detective security controls.\nConduct proactive threat hunting activities.\nDevelop detection use cases and improve monitoring capabilities.\nIncident Reporting & Documentation\nPrepare incident reports, executive summaries, and root cause analysis documents.\nConduct post-incident review meetings.\nTrack and report incident trends and response metrics.\nMaintain incident response playbooks and SOPs.\nStakeholder Coordination\nCoordinate with Infrastructure, Network, Application, Cloud, and Business teams during incidents.\nSupport crisis management and major incident response activities.\nProvide security recommendations and remediation guidance.\nContinuous Improvement\nParticipate in tabletop exercises and cyber simulations.\nEnhance incident response procedures and knowledge base.\nContribute to security awareness and incident response training programs.\nRequired Technical Skills\nIncident Response & Incident Handling\nSIEM Platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk.)\nEndpoint Detection & Response (Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, FireEye, Cortex XDR)\nNetwork Security Analysis\nDigital Forensics Fundamentals\nThreat Intelligence Frameworks\nMITRE ATT&CK Framework\nMalware Analysis (basic to intermediate)\nWindows, Linux, and Cloud Security\nLog Analysis and Event Correlation\nScripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash) preferred\nRequired Certifications (Preferred)\nGCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler)\nGCFA / GCFE\nCHFI\nCISSP\nSecurity+\nMicrosoft Security Certifications\nCEH\nExperience Requirements\nCSIRT Analyst\n5+ years of cybersecurity experience.\nExperience leading major security incidents and deep investigations.\nExperience handling malware, phishing, endpoint compromise, and network-based incidents\nStrong knowledge of threat intelligence, threat hunting, and incident coordination\nAt Fujitsu, we are committed to an inclusive recruitment process that values the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all applicants.
