We have a long heritage of bringing innovation and expertise, continuously working to contribute to the growth of society and our customers.\nAbout the role\nLocation: Sydney preferred; Canberra may be considered\nEmployment type: Full-time\nWork arrangement: Hybrid, with at least two office-based days per week\nAbout the role\nFujitsu is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide commercially focused financial insight and trusted advice to business leaders across a complex, matrix environment.\nPartnering closely with Defence and/or Commercial Enterprise stakeholders, you will translate financial data into clear business actions, strengthen budgeting and forecasting discipline, and help improve revenue, margin, cost, cash and working capital performance. This role combines strong technical finance capability with proactive, relationship-based business partnering.\nWhat you’ll do\nAct as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, providing practical, evidence-based advice and constructive challenge.\nLead budgeting, forecasting and periodic outlook activities for your assigned business areas.\nAnalyse revenue, margin, costs, utilisation, cash and working capital, turning insights into clear recommendations.\nSupport business initiatives, projects, services and contracts through financial modelling, scenario analysis and investment appraisal.\nMonitor performance against budgets and forecasts, investigate material variances and agree corrective actions with stakeholders.\nLead month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, provisions, journals, reconciliations and stakeholder sign-off.\nMaintain strong balance sheet governance, financial controls and compliance with accounting policies.\nPartner across Finance, Sales, Operations and Delivery to improve commercial outcomes and management information.\nIdentify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, data quality and stakeholder financial capability.\nSupport team capability through knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring.\nAbout you\nYou are a commercially minded finance professional who can work independently, influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly. You are comfortable challenging assumptions while maintaining constructive and trusted business relationships.\nYou will bring:\nA recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.\nA relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce, economics or a related discipline.\nAt least five years of relevant post-qualification experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, business controlling or commercial finance.\nStrong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling and management reporting.\nExperience in a services-based organisation, ideally technology, IT services, professional services, outsourcing or another project-led environment.\nConfidence partnering with business leaders and influencing decisions through financial insight and practical recommendations.\nAdvanced Excel capability and experience using enterprise finance, planning or business intelligence systems.\nCurrent working rights in the country where the role is based.\nWhy Fujitsu?\nWe are an organization with a strong set of values and a history of respecting fairness and equality, whilst promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
