You’ll gain exposure to modern software practices, embedded Linux development, and collaborative engineering workflows.\nInternship Responsibilities\nAssist in the design, development, and testing of software components for optical networking platforms.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile development ceremonies.\n\nSupport debugging and troubleshooting efforts across software and hardware interfaces.\n\nContribute to documentation and automation tasks to improve development workflows.\n\nLearn and apply best practices in embedded systems and network software development.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, CE, EE, or a related discipline.\n\nFamiliarity with C/C++ programming, especially in systems or embedded contexts.\n\nExperience working with or learning Linux-based development environments.\n\nExposure to version control systems like Git and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.\n\nInterest in networking technologies and embedded systems.\n\nExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Rust is a plus.\n\nStrong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.\n\nBonus Experience (Not Required)\nAcademic projects or coursework related to networking, embedded systems, or telecommunications.\n\nFamiliarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Docker, or Kubernetes.\n\nInterest in areas such as network telemetry, AI/ML for network optimization, or open source contributions.\n\nWhy Intern with Us?\nAt 1Finity America Inc., you’ll be part of a team that’s pushing the boundaries of optical networking.
