In this role, you will take technical responsibility for Windows Server environments and play an important part in keeping our infrastructure stable, secure, and up to date.\nYou will work hands-on with Windows Server, VMware, patching, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management, while collaborating closely with specialists across network, backup, security, database, and application teams. The role offers a high level of independence and the opportunity to contribute your technical expertise through problem-solving, improvements, and knowledge sharing.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIndependent administration, patching, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Microsoft Windows Server environments.\n\nAdministration and advanced troubleshooting in VMware and vSphere environments.\n\nInstallation, configuration, and lifecycle management of virtual servers.\n\nAdvanced troubleshooting and incident resolution, including analysis of Windows Event Logs, services, performance, and system resources.\n\nRecovery of servers and services, as well as technical support during major incidents.\n\nAdministration and troubleshooting related to DNS, Active Directory, administrative accounts, and privileged access.\n\nVulnerability remediation and security-related measures.\n\nSupport for lifecycle planning, EOL/EOS, changes, migrations, and infrastructure modernization.\n\nDocumentation, standardization, and knowledge transfer.\n\nCollaboration and technical coordination with network, backup, security, database, and application teams.\n\nWe would like you to have:\nAbout 5+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, Windows Server administration, or equivalent technical operations.\n\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.\n\nExperience with VMware and vSphere.\nSolid experience in Windows Server administration, patching, and lifecycle management.\nAdvanced hands-on server troubleshooting skills.\nExperience with Active Directory and administrative account management.\nGood knowledge of DNS, along with a solid understanding of TCP/IP and networking.\nExperience with Incident, Change, and Problem Management.\nDesirable Skills:\nExperience with Windows Server 2025.\nKnowledge of PowerShell, scripting, and automation.\nFamiliarity with Privileged Access Management, such as PrivX/PAM, as well as MFA.\nExperience with ServiceNow and CMDB.\nExperience with Commvault or other enterprise backup solutions.\nKnowledge of monitoring and log management.\nUnderstanding of vulnerability management and CVE remediation.\nExperience with IIS, SQL Server, and application-related Windows troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of Enterprise DNS management.\nWho We Believe You Are:\nYou have a broad technical foundation and can independently handle complex operational and troubleshooting tasks.\nBeing comfortable taking technical ownership within your area and know when other specialist teams need to be involved.\nEnjoying hands-on technical work and solving complex problems.\nWorking methodically and independently when troubleshooting.\nTaking responsibility for incidents, changes, and technical tasks from analysis through follow-up.\nHaving a strong interest in Windows, VMware, automation, and security.\nCollaborating effectively with other specialist teams.\nDocumenting solutions, standardize working methods, and sharing knowledge.\nFluent communication in Swedish and English.\nYou actively contribute to infrastructure improvements and development.\nWhat We Offer:\nA broad technical role where you will work with enterprise infrastructure, traditional server operations, and platform modernization.
