We look forward to growing together toward a brighter future.\nAbout the role\nThe SOC Analyst will assist customers in eliminating possible interruption of service in their security environments. In so doing, you will provide monitoring response to alerts received from software tools into service/ helpdesk tools, ensuring that all incidents are recorded and resolved within customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\nKey responsibilities\nSupport Availability Management by ensuring all customer security devices are monitored in line with contracts and SLAs.\nManaging events and alerts by responding to these identified via monitoring tools and categorise in line with established processes and policies.\nManaging calls from customers in support of SOC functions.\nProviding periodic reports as directed by Manager in support of analysis security event and capacity management functions.\nConducting technical security assessments and providing consultation with customers and colleagues, as required.\nKey qualifications and experience\nAssociate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology\nCompTIA Security+ or equivalent\nMinimum of 2 years experience in a progressive IT services environment with specific focus on security technologies\nTechnical competence in three (3) or more of the following technologies: Endpoint protection, perimeter/ core/ web firewalls, Vulnerability Assessment, Operating System Hardening\nExperience in using security monitoring tool set e.g. FortiAnalyzer, Checkpoint Smart Event, FortiSIEM, Azure Sentinel\nAWS or Azure Security Certification will be considered an asset\nKey attributes\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to easily identify issues\nAbility to work independently with a high level of attention to detail and quality\nExcellent time management with strong planning and organization skills\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nExpresses technical concepts precisely and professionally in both verbal communication and written reports with the effective use of various desktop productivity tools\nAn effective collaborator in engaging with clients, colleagues, senior management, vendors and other various stakeholders\nShows initiative and demonstrates commitment to self-development\nAt Fujitsu, we are committed to an inclusive recruitment process that values the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all applicants.
