This role is ideal for a developer with experience in building accessible, scalable, and user-centric interfaces for cloud-based KM solutions.\nTop 3 primary skills\n2-5 years of experience in UI development.\nAdvanced skills in JavaScript and HTML5 for building interactive, enterprise-grade UIs.\nExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, Angular, Vue).\nStrong understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.\nExperience implementing containerization for application deployment and scaling.\nProficiency in designing and developing software applications.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop intuitive, user-centric interfaces for authoring, reviewing, and publishing KM content.\nBuild responsive and accessible UIs compliant with WCAG 2.1 and Canadian accessibility standards.\nImplement containerization strategies for scalable deployment of UI components.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI with backend services.\nParticipate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure quality, usability, and accessibility of KM solutions.\nMandatory Skills:\n2-5 years of experience in UI development.\nAdvanced skills in JavaScript and HTML5 for building interactive, enterprise-grade UIs.\nExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, Angular, Vue).\nStrong understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.\nExperience implementing containerization for application deployment and scaling.\nProficiency in designing and developing software applications.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills.\nNice to Have Skills\nExperience supporting accessibility audits and remediation in regulated environments.\nFamiliarity with usability testing, user research, and iterative design methodologies.\nExposure to modern front-end frameworks or mobile development.\nPrevious remote or hybrid work experience.\nGeneral Requirements\nMust reside in the Greater Ottawa/Gatineau area.\nHybrid work arrangement - onsite at least three days per week, with additional days as needed.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nCommitment to quality and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.\nWillingness to learn new tools and technologies.\nEligibility for Reliability Security status; minimum five years’ residency in Canada.\nAs of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is:\n$57,120 to $ 73,440\nPlacement in the range depends on several factors such as experience and skills and may change over time.
