Responsibilities:\nPrepare project cost estimates and quotations based on engineering requirements, drawings, and specifications.\nSupport Project Managers in evaluating the cost impact of design of quotations, costing, contracts, variations, and project costs.\nReview Engineering BOMs for costing purposes, apply relevant prices/rates, and determine project costs and quotation prices.\nMonitor project costs against approved budgets and quotations, identify cost variances and potential cost overruns.\nAssist in monitoring project commercial performance, including committed costs, actual costs, forecast costs, and project profitability.\nLiaise with Engineering, Procurement, Workshop, Site, Finance, suppliers, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to obtain accurate cost and project information.\nPerform other project costing, estimation, contract, and commercial duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nDiploma or Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field.\n3-5 years of relevant experience in project costing, estimation, contracts, quantity surveying, or engineering/construction projects.\nAble to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.\nStrong Microsoft Excel and cost-analysis skills.\nGood understanding of project costing, quotation preparation, cost control, and commercial principles.\nExperience in steel fabrication, mechanical equipment, palm oil mills, or industrial engineering projects will be an advantage.\nAble to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.\nMeticulous, proactive, responsible, and able to work effectively under pressure.\nGood command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate and present costing and commercial information
