IT Infrastructure Manager Hands-on

Our client, a Singapore-based SME with overseas operations, is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Manager to manage and improve its IT environment. The role combines daily technical troubleshooting with infrastructure upgrades, systems integration and IT transformation. The successful candidate must be comfortable in managing a lean IT team while remaining hands-on in technical implementation and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Transformation & Modernisation: Assess the existing IT environment and develop a practical transformation roadmap aligned with business priorities. Lead and personally execute infrastructure modernisation, legacy system upgrades, cloud migrations, automation and regional standardisation. Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, vendors and risks; oversee testing, cutover, rollback planning, documentation and user adoption, and measure improvements in reliability, security, efficiency and cost.
• Computer Systems Management: Oversee and maintain computer systems across all branch offices, including both Windows and macOS environments; standardize procurement, installation, maintenance, and replacement processes to ensure efficiency and stability.
• Linux & Open-Source Platforms: Take direct ownership of Linux servers and open-source platforms; install, configure, secure, patch, monitor, automate, and troubleshoot production systems. Evaluate, deploy, and support suitable open-source solutions while maintaining clear documentation and operational standards.
• Network Infrastructure Management: Manage and monitor network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VPN/cloud services) for branch offices worldwide; ensure secure and stable connectivity across multiple regions.
• Systems Integration & Optimization: Plan, design, and execute end-to-end integration across servers, storage, file systems, identity and access management, email, business applications, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms; troubleshoot interoperability issues and deliver reliable hybrid solutions across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments (e.g., Active Directory/LDAP, SSO, MDM, file sharing, and automation).
• Cloud Integration: Manage and integrate Microsoft 365, Apple iCloud, and Google Workspace in hybrid cloud environments; ensure account, email, collaboration tools, and file security across platforms.
• Global IT Integration: Lead IT system integration projects for multinational subsidiaries; develop IT governance policies that comply with local regulations and global corporate standards.
• Information Security & Endpoint Protection: Implement endpoint security policies (user access control, patch management, antivirus, endpoint protection); establish Data Loss Prevention (DLP) measures to monitor and prevent information leakage.
• Risk Control & Compliance: Define IT security standards and audit mechanisms to comply with international frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR); conduct periodic vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and staff training.
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to branch offices and overseas sites required

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of IT/MIS experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role; proven experience in multinational IT systems integration and project management; substantial hands-on experience administering Linux servers and mixed Linux, Windows, and Apple environments (Active Directory/LDAP, MDM, cross-platform security, scripting, and automation).
• IT Transformation Experience (Required): Proven track record of leading and personally implementing end-to-end IT transformation projects, such as infrastructure modernisation, cloud migration, legacy system replacement or workflow automation. Able to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and deliver projects from assessment and solution design through implementation, migration and post-deployment support. Must demonstrate direct technical contributions and measurable business or operational improvements, with experience in stakeholder coordination, change management and maintaining business continuity during transitions.
• Technical Skills: Must be highly proficient in Linux administration and troubleshooting, including command-line tools, shell scripting, package management, permissions, networking, system services, performance tuning, patching, and hardening. Strong knowledge of open-source technologies and ecosystems, network architecture (LAN/WAN/VPN), server and cloud infrastructure, virtualization/containers, monitoring, backup, and automation; expertise in systems integration, APIs, identity services, information security, auditing, DLP, firewalls, and endpoint security.
• Certifications (Preferred): Linux certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE or LFCS/LFCE; Microsoft Certified (Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect / Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert); Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or similar macOS integration certification; CISSP / CCNP / PMP are a plus.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English to collaborate with international teams. Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese, including reading comprehension, is required to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and handle Chinese-language communications and documentation.
• Personal Attributes: A highly hands-on, resourceful self-starter who can independently diagnose problems, make sound technical decisions, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision. Strong ownership, leadership, strategic thinking, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

主要職責:

1. IT 轉型與升級

評估公司現有的 IT 環境，依據營運需求規劃可落實的系統升級與轉型計畫。主導並親自參與基礎架構更新、既有系統升級、雲端移轉及流程自動化，並推動各地據點的 IT 標準化。負責專案時程、預算、供應商及風險管理，統籌測試、系統切換、異常時的回復方案、技術文件及使用者導入，追蹤系統穩定性、資安、作業效率與成本的改善成果。

2. 電腦設備與系統管理

管理及維護各分公司的電腦設備與系統，涵蓋 Windows 和 macOS 環境。建立一致的採購、安裝、維護及汰換流程，確保設備穩定運作，滿足日常工作需求。

3. Linux 與開源平台維運

親自負責正式環境中 Linux 伺服器及開源平台的安裝、設定、安全性更新、監控、自動化及問題排除。依據公司需求評估、導入及維護合適的開源工具，並建立完整的技術文件與維運規範。

4. 網路架構管理

管理及監控全球各據點的網路環境，包含區域網路（LAN）、廣域網路（WAN）、VPN 及雲端連線，確保跨地區連線穩定、安全。

5. 系統整合與優化

負責系統整合的整體規劃、設計與建置，涵蓋伺服器、儲存設備、檔案系統、身分驗證與存取權限、電子郵件、企業應用系統、API、資料庫及雲端平台。解決跨平台相容性與串接問題，確保 Linux、Windows 和 macOS 環境能穩定協同運作，包括 Active Directory／LDAP、單一登入（SSO）、裝置管理（MDM）、檔案共用及自動化作業。

6. 雲端服務整合與管理

管理 Microsoft 365、Apple iCloud、Google Workspace 等雲端服務，並整合公司既有系統，確保跨平台帳號、郵件、協作工具及檔案的使用與存取安全。

7. 跨國據點 IT 整合

主導海外子公司及各地據點的 IT 系統整合，建立符合當地法規與集團標準的資訊管理政策及作業規範。

8. 資訊安全與端點防護

落實使用者權限管理、安全性更新、防毒及端點防護措施，並建立資料外洩防護（DLP）機制，監控及降低資料外洩風險。

9. 資安風險與法規遵循

建立資訊安全標準與稽核機制，確保相關作業符合 ISO 27001 等標準及 GDPR 等法規要求。定期執行弱點評估、滲透測試及員工資安教育訓練。

10. 出差需求

需配合業務需要，不定期至各分公司及海外據點出差。

任職條件:

• 學歷要求

大學以上學歷，資訊管理、資訊工程、電腦科學或相關科系畢業。

• 工作經驗

具備至少 8 年 IT／MIS 相關經驗，其中包含至少 3 年主管經驗，並有跨國 IT 系統整合及專案管理的實務經驗。須具備扎實的 Linux 伺服器管理能力，熟悉 Linux、Windows 與 macOS 混合環境，包括 Active Directory／LDAP、MDM、跨平台資安、腳本撰寫及自動化作業。

• IT 轉型經驗（必要條件）

曾主導並親自執行完整的 IT 轉型專案，例如基礎架構升級、雲端移轉、舊系統汰換或流程自動化。能依據營運需求制定技術執行計畫，從現況評估、方案設計、建置與移轉，一路負責到上線後的維運支援。須能具體說明自己負責的技術工作，以及專案帶來的實際改善成果; 同時具備跨部門協調、變更導入及系統切換經驗，確保轉型期間營運不中斷。

• 專業技能

精通 Linux 系統管理與問題排除，熟悉命令列操作、Shell 腳本、套件管理、權限設定、網路設定、系統服務、效能調校、安全性更新及系統安全強化。熟悉開源技術與相關工具，並掌握網路架構（LAN／WAN／VPN）、伺服器與雲端基礎架構、虛擬化、容器技術、監控、備份及自動化。具備系統整合、API 串接、身分驗證與權限管理、資安稽核、防火牆、DLP 及端點防護能力。

• 加分證照

具備 Linux 相關證照，如 RHCSA／RHCE、LFCS／LFCE; Microsoft 相關認證，如 Azure Administrator、Solutions Architect、Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert; 或 Apple Certified Support Professional（ACSP）及其他 macOS 整合相關證照者優先考慮。持有 CISSP、CCNP 或 PMP 證照亦為加分條件。

• 語言能力

能以英文與跨國團隊順暢溝通，並具備良好的中文聽說讀寫能力，方便與中文使用者及合作夥伴交流，以及處理中文訊息和文件。
