Technician / Mechanical Fitter to join their maintenance team, supporting critical plant equipment, industrial boiler systems and overall manufacturing reliability.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on plant machinery, rotating and static equipment to ensure equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.\nTroubleshoot, maintain and support the start-up and shutdown of industrial boiler systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.\nConduct routine equipment inspections, identify potential faults and implement corrective actions to maintain plant operability.\nCoordinate and supervise contractors, vendors and service providers, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and according to established standards.\nImplement Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and risk assessment procedures to ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.\nInterpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams and maintenance documentation to support troubleshooting and repair activities.\nSupport equipment upgrades, plant improvement initiatives and maintenance-related projects.\nPrepare maintenance and inspection reports, ensuring accurate documentation and timely closure of SAP maintenance work orders.\nCollaborate with production, engineering and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and improve plant performance.\nEnsure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) standards, regulatory requirements and good housekeeping practices.\nRequirements\nMinimum Higher Nitec in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably within the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or related process manufacturing industries.\nValid Boiler Attendant Class 1 Certificate is mandatory.\nStrong hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and maintenance of rotating and static equipment.\nPractical knowledge of industrial boiler maintenance, troubleshooting, start-up and shutdown procedures.\nFamiliarity with PTW, LOTO, risk assessment and industrial workplace safety requirements.\nExperience with SAP or other Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) would be advantageous.\nAdditional certifications in Forklift Operation, Working at Height (WAH), Risk Assessment (RA) and Permit-to-Work (PTW) would be an advantage.\nAble to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nWilling to work 12-hour rotating shifts and perform overtime
