As the business continues to invest in digital transformation, the technology team is developing software products and automation solutions to improve operations and solve complex business challenges.\nAn additional opportunity is now available for a Senior Application Developer who enjoys hands-on engineering, takes ownership of delivery and actively explores better ways of working.\nKey Responsibilities\nTranslate business requirements into practical, well-designed software solutions.\nDesign, develop and optimise backend applications, APIs, microservices and asynchronous processes.\nIntegrate applications and services using message queues and cloud technologies.\nCollaborate with Product Owners and business users to understand workflows, clarify requirements and estimate development effort.\nPrepare technical design documentation and contribute to design reviews, code reviews and technical decisions.\nDevelop and execute tests, identify risks and improve application quality, security and performance.\nTroubleshoot production issues and implement fixes that improve reliability.\nUse AI coding tools responsibly to support development, testing, documentation and problem-solving.\nContribute ideas that improve products, engineering standards and delivery processes.\nKey Requirements:\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of hands-on application development experience, including web-based backend applications and web services.\nProficiency in C#, Java, Node.js, Python or SQL Server-based applications.
