and .NET Core. \n\nGood understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles and common design patterns. \n\nExperience developing RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core. \n\nGood understanding of ASP.NET Core Web API, middleware, dependency injection, configuration and exception handling. \n\nExperience with Web Services and service-to-service communication. \n\nGood understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, HTTP methods, status codes, headers, authentication and secure API communication. \n\nUnderstanding of API security concepts such as JWT/OAuth, authentication and authorization. \n\nExperience with API versioning, validation, logging and error handling. \n\nUnderstanding of asynchronous programming, async/await, multithreading and performance considerations. \n\nExperience working with third-party APIs and external system integrations. \n\nGood understanding of JSON, XML and data serialization/deserialization. \n\nGraphQL\n\nGood hands-on knowledge of GraphQL. \n\nUnderstanding of Queries, Mutations, Schemas, Resolvers and GraphQL APIs. \n\nExperience integrating GraphQL with backend services and databases. \n\nAbility to troubleshoot API performance and data-fetching issues. \n\nSQL / Database\n\nStrong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database concepts. \n\nAbility to write complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs and stored procedures. \n\nGood understanding of database design, indexing and query optimization. \n\nExperience analyzing and resolving SQL performance issues. \n\nUnderstanding of transactions, locking maintainable backend services. \n\nUnderstanding of microservices and service-oriented architecture. \n\nKnowledge of caching, API performance optimization and efficient resource utilization. \n\nExperience implementing structured logging, exception handling and monitoring. \n\nUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git and deployment processes. \n\nGood understanding of application configuration across different environments such as Development, QA, UAT and Production. \n\nExperience troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis (RCA). \n\nAbility to identify technical risks and provide appropriate mitigation approaches. \n\nUnderstanding of secure coding practices and common application security vulnerabilities. \n\nExperience & Ownership\n6–8 years of professional experience in software development with significant hands-on experience in .NET/backend technologies. \n\nShould have experience working on enterprise-level applications with multiple integrations and dependent systems. \n\nExperience taking ownership of features/modules from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment and production support. \n\nAbility to independently analyze requirements and convert them into technical solutions. \n\nShould be comfortable reviewing existing code and identifying opportunities for refactoring, performance improvement and technical debt reduction. \n\nExperience conducting code reviews and maintaining development standards. \n\nAbility to estimate development effort and identify dependencies, assumptions and technical risks. \n\nShould be able to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment. \n\nExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, DevOps, architects and business analysts. \n\nShould demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables. \n\nProblem Solving & Production Support\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \n\nAbility to troubleshoot complex application, API and database issues. \n\nExperience analyzing logs, exceptions and application behaviour to identify root causes. \n\nAbility to distinguish between code defects, configuration issues, infrastructure issues and integration failures. \n\nExperience supporting production deployments and resolving critical production issues. \n\nAbility to work effectively under production/support pressure while following appropriate escalation processes. \n\nShould be able to document RCA and recommend preventive actions. \n\nCommunication & Collaboration\nStrong verbal and written communication skills. \n\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \n\nShould be able to actively participate in technical discussions and explain design/implementation decisions. \n\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Technical Leads, Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA and DevOps teams. \n\nShould proactively communicate progress, blockers, risks, dependencies and delivery impact. \n\nAbility to challenge technical approaches constructively and suggest alternative solutions when required. \n\nShould be comfortable participating in requirement clarification and solution-design discussions. \n\nGood documentation skills, including API documentation, technical design documents and RCA documents. \n\nAbility to mentor junior developers and support other team members
