This person is responsible for the engineering, calculations, and stamped structural packages associated with our products. This person will work with Design, Manufacturing, Install, and our customers to create new products and solve problems.\nWe understand that our employees are the heart of our company; we offer excellent 100% paid medical, vision, accident, and short-term-disability insurance coverage along with holiday pay, vacation pay, sick pay, 401K w/ match, ongoing training and more.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nProduce and stamp structural calculation and drawing packages for customer record and submittal to AHJ as required per IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.\nInterpret customer provided requirements (specification manuals, construction drawings). Assist Sales with preliminary design concepts for quoting purposes.\nCommunicate with customers and vendors.\nAssist Design with structural feasibility. Create models for FEA and generate performance reports.\nReview plans to ensure customer requirements for structural and dynamic performance are met.\nPerform inspections as needed in Manufacturing to ensure design intent and stamped packages are followed.\nDocument control for all internal inspections, customer generated RFI’s, and Customer specific approval process.\nMentor and support junior engineers/designers on complex projects.\nMaintain organized records.\nREQUIREMENTS:\n5-10 years of relevant experience.\nOregon Civil/Mechanical Professional Engineer license is mandatory.\nReciprocity through the NCEES record system.\nWorking knowledge and experience with structural, seismic and vibration analyses is mandatory.\nExperience performing seismic restraint anchorage analyses and calculations is required.\nProficiency with RISA (or similar) structural software, Hilti Profis anchorage software, AutoCAD, BIM360.\nFamiliarity with structural connections and welding codes.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex issues in a timely fashion and under pressure.\nAbility to organize and present technical information in an understandable manner to multiple audiences.\nOutstanding customer interaction skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.\nHighly collaborative nature, a positive “can-do” attitude, and adapt easily to change.\nValid Oregon driver’s license and a clean driving record.\nFollow all company safety processes and procedures, including wearing PPE when necessary.\nPREFERENCES:\nHands-on experience with stiffness and vibration testing.\nSemiconductor industry experience.\nHands-on experience working in Manufacturing.\nDassault Solidworks and/or Autodesk Inventor experience.\n\nEDUCATION:\nBS in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.\n\nENVIRONMENT:\nOffice environment that supports fast-paced manufacturing work cells.\nOccasional visits to manufacturing floor where PPE must be worn.\nThis is an onsite position, not a hybrid position.
