This position is responsible for supporting the installation, positioning, and preparation of semiconductor equipment pedestals and related structural systems at customer facilities throughout the United States and internationally.\nThe successful candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work safely and professionally in highly controlled cleanroom environments. This role requires frequent travel and offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with some of the world's most advanced manufacturing facilities.\nThe Installation Technician I works under the direction of Senior Field Installation Technicians and the Installation Manager while developing the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully perform increasingly complex field installations.\nThis position description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role. Duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be adjusted as business needs evolve.\nWhat You'll Do\nInstallation & Field Services\nProvide onsite support during the receipt, installation, and preparation of Fulcrum pedestal systems.\nAssist customers and installation support personnel with proper installation procedures and best practices.\nEnsure accurate placement and mounting of pedestals and seismic restraint systems according to customer and manufacturer specifications.\nParticipate in pre-installation site surveys and project planning activities.\nVerify installation quality and assist with preparing systems for vibration and stiffness testing.\nIdentify installation issues and escalate concerns to Senior Field Installation Technicians or the Installation Manager as needed.\nCustomer Support\nDeliver exceptional customer service while working in semiconductor fabs and cleanroom environments.\nMaintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.\nRespond quickly and effectively to customer questions and installation challenges.\nBuild positive working relationships with customers, contractors, and internal team members.\nRepresent Fulcrum Technologies professionally while onsite and during travel.\nDocumentation & Reporting\nMaintain accurate, complete, and legible installation records and reports.\nDocument installation activities in accordance with Fulcrum and customer requirements.\nComplete administrative reports, project documentation, and expense reports accurately and on time.\nSupport project closeout activities and installation documentation requirements.\nEquipment & Asset Management\nMaintain company-issued tools, equipment, vehicles, laptops, mobile phones, and other assets.\nEnsure tools remain compliant with cleanroom requirements and customer specifications.\nMonitor equipment condition and report maintenance or replacement needs.\nVerify required tools and materials are available before arriving at customer sites.\nTravel & Logistics\nCoordinate travel arrangements in accordance with company travel policies.\nBook airfare, lodging, rental vehicles, and other travel-related requirements.\nManage travel itineraries and schedules effectively.\nSubmit travel expenses and supporting documentation promptly and accurately.\nSupport domestic and international installation projects as assigned.\nSafety & Compliance\nFollow all company safety policies and customer site requirements.\nMaintain eligibility for customer site access and credentialing requirements.\nComply with cleanroom protocols and contamination control procedures.\nPromote a safety-first mindset while working in customer environments.\nMaintain professionalism and conduct consistent with customer expectations and company standards.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nExperience working in a field service, installation, manufacturing, construction, or technical support environment.\nAbility to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.\nAbility to read and follow installation procedures, drawings, and technical instructions.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and mobile technology.\nAbility to obtain and maintain customer-required site access credentials.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing environments.\nPrevious field service or installation experience.\nExperience supporting capital equipment installations.\nExperience working around precision manufacturing equipment.\nKnowledge of cleanroom protocols and contamination control requirements.\nExperience with domestic and international business travel.\nMilitary technical experience or trade school education.\nPerformance Expectations\nSuccessful candidates will demonstrate the ability to:\nPerform
