Seeking a Senior Software Developer to modernize existing C++ desktop application by migrating functionality to web-based .NET solution. The developer will also support the evaluation and integration of AI capabilities into applications and business workflows to improve efficiency, automation, and overall business value.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesigning and Developing Applications\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and develop robust software applications using .NET, C++, and C#.\nParticipate in code reviews and identifying code refactoring candidates.\nEvaluate opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into applications to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and streamline business processes.\nCoding and Debugging\nWrite clean, scalable code following best practices and standards in software development. Use OOP techniques, such as dependency injection, to produce scalable code.\nDebug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Identify and resolve performance issues.\nLeverage AI assisted development tools, such as Claude, to improve coding productivity and accelerate debugging and documentation, while validiation outputs for accuracy, security and quality.\nTesting and Deployment\nPerform unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.\nSupport deployment of applications and evaluate their performance.\nHelp implement appropriate testing, monitoring, and validation practices for AI integrations.\nMaintenance and Support\nProvide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.\nInvestigate and resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operation of applications.\nCollaboration and Communication\nCollaborate with product, QA and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.\nCommunicate technical approaches, implementation considerations, and potential risks associated with AI solutions.\nSkills & Competencies:\nExperience with C++, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.\nExperience with back end RESTful APIs.\nKnowledge of security best practices such as OWASP\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nHighly motivated with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.\nDevelopment of maintainable code from written requirements using industry standards.\nOrganized and task oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to maintain productivity, communication, and collaboration while working remotely. Includes proficiency in remote tools (Teams, etc.), time management, and self-discipline.\nExperience as an AI Engineer a plus\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent.\n5+ years of full stack development experience.\n5+ years experience in C#, .NET web sites and object oriented programming.\n5+ years experience in SQL Server or similar RDBMS.\nExperience with microservice architecture\nBasic understanding of AI technologies, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or AI service APIs, with the ability to support integration into software applications.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nSalary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 USD\nFullsteam supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience, and background.
