Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a major infrastructure project, ensuring financial records, payments and administrative processes are maintained accurately and in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements.\nIn this role, you'll be responsible for:\nProcessing site and delivery dockets, supplier invoices and subcontractor claims in accordance with company procedures and delegated authority requirements\nManaging purchase orders, including amendments and accrual-related administration activities\nCoordinating weekly, 45-day and monthly payment runs while ensuring payments are made in accordance with agreed terms and relevant legislation\nReviewing and reconciling vendor statements, subcontractor payments and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records\nAssisting with end-of-month accrual processes, monthly ledgers, ageing reports and duplicate payment checks\nSetting up and maintaining jobs, vendors, customers and subcontractor records within JDE and ensuring organisational and statutory compliance requirements are met\nProducing financial reports and providing ad hoc analysis and support to the broader finance team\nBuilding strong relationships with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times\nHow you’ll connect to the role?\n You are an organised and detail-focused accounts professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes. You have strong administration and accounts payable experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines.\nYou will also bring:\nPrevious experience in accounts administration, accounts payable or a similar finance support role\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records\nWell-developed communication and stakeholder management skills\nIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems\nExperience using ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE), will be highly regarded\nQualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline and/or experience within the construction industry will be advantageous\nOur people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
