In this role, you’ll operate plant and machinery to help deliver Asphalt and Paving work safely, on time, and to a high standard.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing good work, values safety and wants to keep building their skills. You’ll work closely with your Foreperson and site crew to get the job done the right way.\nNgā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities\nOperate plant and machinery safely, efficiently and effectively across asphalt and paving activities. \nAcurately complete daily plant checks and basic maintenance, and keep equipment clean, presentable and ready for work. \nDiligently follow site plans, pre-start requirements and safety, environmental and quality processes every day. \nSpeak up, push pause when needed and help identify safer, better ways of working. \nProactively support the wider team with other duties as needed to keep work moving.\nKei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with\nExperience operating plant and machinery in asphalt and paving or similar hands-on environments. \nA strong focus on safety, wellbeing and doing the job right first time. \nCurrent Class 2 and 4 licences, or a willingness to gain this with our support. \n W, T, R endorsements are a must for this role.\nA practical, reliable and team-focused approach, with the confidence to follow instructions and think ahead. \nA positive attitude, willingness to learn and real pride in a job well done.\nHe pai te mahi, he pai ngā painga | Good work, good benefits\nAt Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us.
