Our 10,000+ team works in a range of environments, creating, connecting, and caring for communities across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.\nWhat’s on offer?\nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Electrician to join our team, supporting our mobile asphalt and heavy vehicle fleet across South-East Queensland.\nThis is a hands-on role working on a diverse range of modern asphalt equipment and trucks, ensuring reliability, safety, and operational performance.\nWorking Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime, nights, and weekends when available, this role is offering a competitive hourly rate plus penalties, tool of the trade vehicle and superannuation.\nKey Responsibilities\nDiagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on asphalt paving equipment and heavy vehicles.\nFault finding on complex electrical, CANBUS, and control systems.\nCarry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs in both workshop and field environments.\nInstall and repair lighting, sensors, control systems, and safety equipment.\nMaintain accurate service records and job documentation.\nWork collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.\nWhat you will need\nTrade qualified Auto Electrician.\nExperience with heavy vehicles, construction, or asphalt equipment (highly regarded).\nStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.\nAbility to work independently in field-based environments.\nCommitment to safety and quality workmanship.\nCurrent driver’s licence.\nWant to be rewarded for the good work you do?
