This is a key leadership role where you’ll drive the commercial performance by creating a good commercial framework across the project, align budgets with delivery, manage risk, and lead the finance function ensuring robust governance with financial control throughout the project lifecycle.\nYou'll be a commercially astute individual who can provide trusted advice to senior leaders, manage client and subcontractor relationships to achieve successful project outcomes.\nIf you’ve worked on mid to large-size civil projects and know how to build and maintain strong relationships while maintaining a strong focus on commercial discipline , risk management and value creation this could be a great fit.\nKey role responsibilities\nFinancial Management & Governance: Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting cashflow and working capital management. With Project Controls monitor costs, identify trends and implement any corrective requirements. . Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasts and governance to meet company requirements. Support and mentor the finance team to meet timeframes for financial management and reporting.\nContract Management: Lead the management of contracts with suppliers, and subcontractors. Oversee procurement, subcontract administration, variations, claims and dispute processes to ensure compliance, while engaging with and coordinating with legal and project teams on issues.\nRisk Management: Identify, assess and manage commercial, contractual and financial risks. Develop risk mitigation and management strategies to ensure the risks are actively monitored and reported against.\nProject Coordination: Collaborate with zone managers, engineers, HSQE and other stakeholders for effective communication and project progress.\nClient Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and key stakeholders. Support the Project Director in managing client expectations and resolving commercial issues.
