You’ll work alongside crews, clients and suppliers to keep surfacing programmes running smoothly, solve problems on the go, and help deliver high quality outcomes for the network.\nMō te tūranga | About the role\nIn this role, you’ll help plan, deliver and commercially manage road surfacing projects across the Chipseal network of Auckland. You’ll be trusted to keep work moving, solve problems on the go, and make sure every job is delivered safely, to spec, on time and on budget.\nNgā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities\nManage the planning and delivery of surfacing contract of the chipseal renewals.\n\nPrepare programmes and coordinate crews, plant, materials, subcontractors and suppliers to keep work running smoothly.\n\nMonitor budgets, job costs, variations and progress reporting to support strong commercial outcomes.\n\nOversee health, safety, environmental and quality requirements, making sure work is completed to specification and contract standards.\n\nBuild strong working relationships with clients, internal teams and field crews while helping resolve site issues quickly and practically.\n\nKei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with\nA Civil Engineering qualification and at least 2 years’ industry experience.\n\nGood knowledge of roading, pavements and surfacing, with strong coordination and contract administration skills.\n\nCommercial awareness, including budgets, variations and turning contract requirements into clear actions.\n\nA strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards, with a practical approach to problem solving.\n\nA Class 1 Driver Licence, strong communication skills and a team-focused, low ego attitude.\n\nHe pai te mahi, he pai ngā painga | Good work, good benefits\nAt Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us.
