We offer excellent employee benefits and pathways for further growth.\nIn this role you'll be responsible for:\nUnderstanding all commercial aspects of the construction and utilities contracts and identifying key areas of contract and financial risk\nProcurement of subcontractors by supporting the tendering team in the RFT, drafting of subcontracts including scope of works and negotiation of commercial terms in accordance with Company subcontracting protocols\nManagement of complete subcontract life cycle from award to closeout (including payment, variations, claims and EOT)\nManaging and resolving subcontractor-initiated variations and contractual claims including defence.\nLiaising closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and the wider project team to ensure commercial and financial risks are mitigated.\nTo be successful in this role you will have:\nFormal Qualifications in Contract Management, business or engineering or similar is desirable\nMin 3+ years demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement and contract formation in the construction and/or utilities sectors\nSound commercial and financial acumen related to the construction/utilities sectors\nUnderstanding of insurances, Security of Payment Act, bank guarantees and indemnities\nExperience in contractual notifications, claim preparation and negotiation\nHave excellent IT skills and advanced skills in Excel and Word\nExperience with JDE will be an advantage, but is not essential\nAdopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0 Culture.\nOur people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
