These hands-on roles will suit safety-focused candidates with road maintenance, civil construction or asphalt experience who are comfortable working across multiple crews and undertaking a broad range of maintenance activities.\nWhat you will be doing\n· Carrying out general road maintenance and minor civil works\n· Completing asphalt repairs, pothole patching and bitumen works\n· Installing and maintaining road signage\n· Operating MR, HR or HC trucks, depending on licence class\n· Operating Flocon trucks where appropriately experienced\n· Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment\n· Completing basic plant and equipment pre-start checks\n· Working across multiple road maintenance crews as required\n· Following all workplace health and safety procedures\n· Participating in an on-call roster one week in every 10 weeks to attend and manage after-hours call-outs\nWhat will you need?\n· A valid MR Driver Licence at a minimum\n· Current Traffic Management tickets\n· Previous experience in road maintenance, civil construction or asphalt works\n· The ability to undertake physical labouring duties\n· A current driver licence and reliable transport\n· A strong understanding of workplace health and safety\n· Experience across multiple areas of road maintenance (highly regarded)\n· Flocon truck operating experience (highly regarded)\n· TMA truck or bump truck experience (advantageous)\nWe encourage candidates with HC licences and experience in minor asphalt works, signage, Flocon operations and TMA trucks to apply.\nThe pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.\nWant to be rewarded for the good work you do?
