# Driver Operator

Mō te tūranga | About the role Want a role where you’re out in the field, operating machinery, backing your crew, and getting stuck into good work every day? We’re looking for a Driver Operator to join Fulton Hogan and help deliver work safely, on time, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role where you’ll complete machine operating and general labouring tasks, work closely with your Foreperson or Supervisor, and play a real part in keeping jobs moving. You’ll be trusted to work safely, think ahead, and pitch in where needed. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities Operate plant and machinery as directed by your Foreperson or Supervisor. Complete labouring tasks such as lifting and shifting materials, operating handheld equipment, measuring and cutting materials, and other general site duties. Take part in pre-starts and risk planning, and follow all safety, environmental, and quality processes on site. Report incidents, accidents, and near misses, and speak up if something does not look right. Look for better, safer ways of working and contribute positively to the team.
