Reporting to the Sales & Estimating Manager, you will play an important role within our estimating team. Servicing and providing bids for key clients which include state government, local government and civil contractors throughout SA and NT.\nDay to day you will:\nReview specifications, quality, safety, and other requirements for all tenders.\nReview RFQ's and prepare detailed estimates based on drawings and information provided by our clients\nEnsure resource rates used are correct, coordinating and sending out subcontractor/supplier pricing requests, and performing price analysis.\nPrice of direct job cost items in Benchmark Estimating Software and assist in compiling tender support information.\nParticipate in meetings and tender reviews, ensuring tenders and quotes are submitted in a suitable format at the appropriate time, assisting with the handover of successful tenders to operational staff.\nHow you will connect to the role:\nExperience in the civil construction field (preferably in road surfacing)\nExcellent communication skills, ability to build a good rapport with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers across the industry.\nExperience with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Power point)\nKnowledge of estimating software such as Benchmark would be highly regarded\nCirca 12 months prior experience in an Estimating role (ideal)\nOur people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
