You’ll find us partnering with local and national community groups, like Clontarf Foundation, Black Dog Institute, and Soldier On, in addition to indigenous groups and social enterprises, to ensure that our good work positively impacts and brings about sustainable change within our industry.\nWhat's on offer?\nWe are looking for Multi Skilled Road Worker to be part of our team, undertaking planned maintenance work across the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract - Barwon South West, working closely with the Department of Transport and Planning.\n You will be responsible for:\nVegetation control, graffiti removal, pot-hole repairs, edge break repairs, general flocon work & sign installation/maintenance.\nMobile plant operation (e.g. Rollers, skid steers, heavy rigid truck).\nRoad work maintenance, construction, and safe operation near live traffic.\nToolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific data capture.\nInspections of Assets connected to the maintenance contract.\nOther activities include: Asphalt laying physical duties such as; shovelling, raking, brooming.\nHow you will connect to the role?\nAvailability to work overtime, weekends and nights when required.\nCurrent Drainage experience preferred but not essential.\nAsphalt laying experience preferred but not essential.\nGeneral earthworks/pipe laying experience preferred but not essential..\nCompetent with: Skid Steers. Rollers and Excavators, an advantage.\nEssential licence/Experience include:\nConstruction induction card\nHR Truck licence\nCurrent traffic tickets (preferred)\nDriver’s License\nThis role is required to be on call, attending and managing after hours call outs as agreed with manager.\nPosition is based at our Geelong Depot.
