Your focus is on hands-on development, ensuring the reliability, security, and maintainability of the platform, while addressing complex technical challenges in production.\nThis is a position based in Spain and reporting directly to the Lead Backend Engineer.\nKey responsibilities:\nImplementing scalable, high-performance features and integrations between services in a high-demand system, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and seamless user experience.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain end to end solutions using technologies such as Python, Django, DRF, FastAPI, Docker and AWS Cloud. \nUse AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code to help you write the code.\nWrite automated unit tests and integration tests to validate backend functionality and ensure code quality and reliability. \nMaintain comprehensive documentation of backend systems, APIs, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure code maintainability. \nShare technical insights and best practices with unit members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and workflows.\nProactively provide technical knowledge and support to junior and other senior backend engineers.\nWork closely with DevOps engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives and user needs. \nCommunicate effectively with other members, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and progress.\nRequirements\nSkills & Expected Behaviours:\nDevelop scalable, high-performance backend systems
