We believe the fastest way to grow is by doing, so we give you the ownership to run with things and see real-time results.\nOwns the data modelling strategy, sets standards for data modelling, transformations, and governance.\n\nLeads the design and implementation of new features,, such as the creation of a new star schema and other best practices to optimise data usability.\n\nSets best practices and standards on how we use SQL & dbt / Python / Pyspark and/or other languages to solve business problems.\n\nBecomes an expert in the business subject area the team are working on, holding expertise on both the business requirements as well as the technical implementation.\n\nDelivers high quality code, provides technical mentorship and ensures the team is building scalable, maintainable data models.\n\nCo-owns the backlog with the Engineering Manager and helps to break down technical requirements.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe value deep expertise, but a growth mindset and good energy are what really make our team click. We’re a group that chooses to lift each other up and think smart every day.\nExtensive experience in SQL / Python / Pyspark and/or other languages relevant to data processing\n\nExtensive experience in dbt and ideally Airflow (or other orchestration tools)\n\nExtensive experience in Entity-Relationship modelling and Dimensional modelling\n\nExperience with Cloud Data Warehousing (eg Snowflake, Databricks or BigQuery) and Cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure)\n\nFamiliarity with Tableau\n\nExcellent communication and problem solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements\n\nAble to architect custom AI solutions and smart automated systems that are safe, maintainable, and aligned with our long-term mission\n\nAct as a technical bridge and mentor, training “builders\" across the company to move from basic AI usage to sophisticated system creation\n\nExperience we’d love to see:\nWorking background in Fintech/Financial Services would be highly preferred, but not essential.\n\nWe’re building a place where everyone truly feels they belong.
