Success in the role requires initiative, a solid work ethic, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. \n\nIn this role, you will…\nAssist with the administration, monitoring, and support of Oracle database environments under the guidance of senior team members\nSupport Oracle backup, recovery, availability, and routine maintenance activities\nAssist with database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management activities\nMonitor Oracle database performance, space management, and optimization activities under guidance\nSupport database changes and deployments across development, UAT, and production environments.\nAuthor basic SQL, PL/SQL, and automation scripts to improve operational efficiency\nParticipate in projects, working closely with agile development teams and other internal teams to support Oracle database requirements, troubleshooting, and tuning.\nAccurately document database standards, procedures, and operational practices\nParticipate in a rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule\n\nWhy you are the person we’re looking for…\nYou’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:\nA strong interest in Oracle database administration, including automation, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database operations. \nAcademic or practical exposure to Oracle database technologies, including:\nOracle Database (19c and later releases)\nOracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), and monitoring/recovery tools\nHigh-availability and disaster recovery technologies (e.g. Data Guard) and Multi-tenant architecture\nOracle Exadata and cloud database platforms\nTOAD and other database administration, development, and query tools\nShow initiative, take ownership of tasks, and are eager to learn and grow into greater responsibility over time\nStrong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\n\nTarget total compensation including bonus: $74,750 - $86,250\n(starting base salary of $65,000 - $75,000) \nAI Statement\nFundserv leverages the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to support our recruitment process through assistance with initial resume screening.
