This individual will also be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing of the inventory staff. This role will assist in the inventory research, auditing, planning, control operations, and assist with reporting, metrics, and project development.\nWhat You’ll Do\nEnsure performance best practices by monitoring safety and accident incident reporting to reduce lost time due to workplace injury.\nTrain and directly supervise all inventory employees to ensure accuracy of work and understanding of necessary skills to tasks.\nWork closely with the Warehouse Operations, Planning, and Training teams to support the design and implementation of approved processes driving cost effective practices aligned with the strategic direction of Operations and Inventory Control.\nAssist in the tactical execution of fulfillment, including all related inventory duties such as: cycle counting, emergency replenishment, researching shorted orders, adjustment review, resource planning, and internal audits of business and safety processes.\nWork closely with the Inventory Control Manager and DC leadership to successfully execute the strategic direction of Inventory Control.\nWork closely with the Inventory Control Manager to identify and propose solutions for operational efficiencies and employee or team development.\nAssist the Inventory Control Manager in driving key performance metrics by managing labor and inventory costs while achieving departmental goals.\nUtilize reporting and system tools to log data for deeper analysis. \nWork with the warehouse Facilities team to ensure all equipment repairs are reported and always maintained in optimal operational condition.\nEnsure accurate and timely resource planning to meet Inventory Control demands and assist in the operations demand.\nSupport major initiatives such as year end inventory audits, comic cons, and other major events.\nAlign with the business partners to resolve issues and ensure the highest level of service.\nManage performance through motivation, mentoring, and coaching.\nImprove employee engagement by communicating a clear vision.\nMonitor employee attendance, productivity, and other performance indicators.\nAdditional responsibilities as assigned.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nExperience directly managing twenty or more team members in a high-paced, large scale distribution warehouse.\nWorking knowledge of automated distribution and warehouse management systems.\nStrong interpersonal communications skills.\nProven analytical, organizational, tactical, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.\nWorking knowledge of Radio Frequency Technology, Windows, and Microsoft Office\nFlexibility to support a multi-shift operation.\nAbility and passion to learn new fulfillment and inventory control methodologies - absorb new information and concepts quickly.\nStrong sense of urgency required to work in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibility, maturity, and leadership ability.\nInitiative to work with minimal instruction or direction.\nThree or more years of inventory control experience (warehouse or business).\nAssociates Degree or equivalent work experience.\nSalary Information\nThe base salary range for this position in the selected city is $68,640 - $82,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
