They willplay a key role in creating a safe, functional, and well-maintained working environment for all staff and visitors.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCarry out routine inspections of the warehouse and office facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety issues\nPerform general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, and decorating\nMaintain and repair warehouse equipment, fixtures, and fittings\nEnsure all building systems (lighting, heating, ventilation, etc.) are functioning effectively\nRespond promptly to maintenance requests from colleaguesand management\nLiaise withexternal contractors when specialist repairs or servicing are required\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting basic risk assessments where necessary\nMaintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and service schedules\nSupport the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes\nMonitor and manage maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment inventory\nAssist with office moves, layout changes, and minor installations\nEnsure the external areas (e.g., car park, walkways, loading bays) are safe, clean, and well maintained\nIdentify opportunities for improvements to facilities, efficiency, and cost savings\nSupport emergency response actions (e.g., leaks, power issues, safety hazards)\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBasic knowledge of building maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, general repairs)\nAbility to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently\nGood understanding of health and safety practices and regulations\nPractical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills\nAbility to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively\nGood communication skills to interact with staff, contractors, and management\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nBasic record-keeping and organisational skills\nPhysically capable of carrying out manual tasks (lifting, moving equipment, working at height where required)\nAttention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues\nBasic IT skills (e.g., logging jobs, emails, simple reporting)\nBe able to demonstrate a ‘team player’ ethic\nFunko is an equal opportunity employer.
