You will ensure proactive collection of cash in a timely manner, management of aged debt and unallocated cash, whilst limiting the company’s exposure to bad debt. You will also assist the Credit Control Team Leader by supporting the Credit Control team with Ledger queries and system/process training. Your focus will be on safeguarding cash flow, strengthening key client relationships, and ensuring internal credit policies are rigorously maintained.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nYou will look after Key Level Accounts for the EMEA Business, such as *Carrefour Group, FNAC, Gamestop,Juguettos Central Group, Mueller/Smyths and others as set out by the Senior Manager - Accounts Receivable\nEnsure timely payments from customers by proactively engaging and building relationships\nIssue weekly/monthly statements and copy invoices to customers as required\nResolve invoice queries promptly by liaising with internal departments and customers\nComplete daily allocation of payments in line with SOX requirements\nAllocate credits where applicable\nReconcile EMEA customer ledgers as required, working on legacy debt reduction\nChase overdue debt and minimise rollover of debt past 30 days\nEnsuring cashflow is recorded on a daily basis via the use of the PB or Promise Board\nManage release of orders to balancing credit risk vs supporting business growth\nEnsuring dilutions are dealt with in a timely manner and in line with SOX requirements\nUpload of EDI (where applicable) and working on continuous improvements of EDI with relevant internal department and the Customer\nCover for colleagues during absences and holidays \nAd hoc work as required by the Senior Manager - Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Team Leader.\nSupport the Senior Manager - Accounts Receivable by:\nSetting regular meetings with all areas of Sales and Customer Services, to ensure Best Practice is driven across all the Key Account areas. As well as supporting Team members to do the same.\nHighlighting any financial concerns or issues to the Senior Manager - Accounts Receivable immediately\nSupport Credit Controllers with reconciliation work and any complex debt resolution\nSupport team training and refresher training as required\nSupport the Senior Manager - Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Team Leader with internal and external audit requirements\nSupport the Team with SOX control and approval processes to ensure Team compliance\nProduction of required reconciliation work on legacy debt for audit purposes\nContinue to drive efficiencies and improvements within the Key Account Areas \nWhat You’ll Bring:\nAbility to build and develop excellent working relationships with both your internal and external customers\nExperience of working in a fast-paced Credit Control team, ideally within an FMCG growth business\nTarget driven mentality\nCan-do attitude, open to change and new ways/approaches of working\nA highly organised and proactive approach to work\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent IT skills including intermediate Excel, formula’s, Vlookups, Pivot tables etc\nExperience of an EMEA multicurrency ledger \nEuropean language skills (would be an advantage)\nFunko is an equal opportunity employer.
