This position is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, buildings, employees, customers, and all visitors. This position may provide support across HQ and the Retail store.\nThis role will be filling the swing shift Sunday - Thursday, 1:30pm - 22:00 (10pm).\nWhat You’ll Do\nSecure Funko facilities, products, physical assets, and intellectual property\nDetect and deter situations that may impact Funko operations\nPerform security patrols of the entire Funko Campus on foot or in provided vehicle\nPerform video surveillance of the interior and exterior of the premise\nWatch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards; perform building unlock/lock-down\nEnforce company and department rules and policies; uphold city and state laws as applicable\nMaintain confidentiality in the collection, investigation, and reporting of all incidents and Funko property\nProtect interior property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents\nInvestigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities\nEffectively communicate with 911 and emergency responders to report suspicious activity and emergency incidents\nProvide security escorts as requested\nRespond to and verify visitor requests for entry to Headquarters, providing entry or guidance when needed\nProvide assistance to employees, customers, and visitors following the department's procedures in a courteous and professional manner\nAssume an active role in raising employee safety and security awareness\nWhat You’ll Bring\n1 or more years of prior security or military field experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nBasic computer skills\nKnowledge of safety and security standards or loss prevention practices, and procedures\nExcellent attention to detail, observation, and recall skills\nClear verbal and written communication skills required; Incident report writing preferred\nMaintain professionalism and composure when dealing with an unusual, difficult, or stressful situation\nRespond to situations in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency\nAble to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, and visitor incidents and security matters.\nMaintain a neat and clean appearance to meet company standards and represent the company positively\nAvailability to work days, weekends, including holidays and special events. Including the possibility of working back to back shifts\nAbility to stand and patrol for extended periods of time while maintaining radio communication with staff.\nSalary Information\nThe base salary range for this position in the selected city is $20.77 - $24.52 hourly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
