In this role, you’ll redefine how marketers explore, understand, and act on their data by building AI-powered product experiences.\nThe AI domain is at the center of how we bring AI to our customers-owning the full multi agent infrastructure end-to-end. Your work will directly shape how thousands of users move from raw data to insight faster, more naturally, and with greater confidence.\nOur Ways of Working\nWe organize our work around domains and workstreams with clear areas of ownership. We work in small, iterative cycles-experimenting, learning, and deploying to production multiple times a day with high autonomy and close cross-functional collaboration.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign and implement user-facing AI features, such as natural language querying, AI-assisted workflows, and intelligent insights.\n\nOwn features end-to-end from early exploration and prototyping through system architecture, implementation, production deployment, and followup.\n\nPartner closely with product managers and designers to define interaction patterns for AI-driven user experiences.\n\nEvaluate and optimize the reliability, latency, cost, accuracy, and usability of AI features in production.\n\nContribute to shaping Funnel’s approach to AI in the product, including tooling, design patterns, and best practices.\n\nDrive technical initiatives from idea to production. Make sure best practices are followed, e.g., testing, relevant code reviews, dry principles.\n\nSkills & Experience We’re Looking For\n5+ years of experience building product-facing software as a fullstack and/or backend engineer.\n\nProduct mindset with comfort navigating ambiguous problem spaces, driving technical direction, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.\n\nForward leaning, you are a curious engineer, not afraid to try new things, learn from mistakes and move forward.\n\nAI native mindset treats AI as a fundamental part of your workflow, embedded into your ways of working, but you also know when not to use AI.\n\nHands-on experience building LLM-powered applications in production, including system performance evaluations and cost monitoring.\n\nStrong engineering skills with a track record of crafting high quality code that is maintainable over time and maintaining distributed systems that are fault tolerant.\n\nCloud & Infrastructure operations experience designing and operating scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS), APIs, data pipelines, and observability.\n\nExperience working with data-heavy products and/or analytics tools would be an advantage.\n\nFamiliarity with Amazon Bedrock or similar LLM foundation model platforms would also be beneficial.\n\nWhy You Should Join Us\nBuild meaningful tech that powers millions of daily jobs for customers around the world.\n\nHelp shape our next-gen platform as we grow and move toward an AI-first future.\n\nEnjoy real ownership with the freedom to design, build, and ship every day.\n\nWork with friendly, collaborative teams who care about quality and each other.\n\nGrow with us in a company that invests in learning, innovation, and people.\n\nLocation & Eligibility\nAt this time, we can only consider applicants currently residing in Stockholm, Sweden, who meet at least one of the following criteria:\nHold Swedish citizenship\n\nHold EU/EEA citizenship and reside in Stockholm\n\nHold a valid Swedish work permit\n\nOffice-first\nAt Funnel, we have an office-first approach, and we work from the office a minimum of four days a week. We have lots of flexibility for when life happens, during the summer, through the holidays.
