This is half software, half hardware.\n\nQualifications\nHands-on experience with energy management systems (EMS) for battery storage, PV or C&I sites. Ideally you've built or integrated one yourself, whether at work, in your thesis or during an internship. Similar experience counts too (e.g. battery management systems (BMS), SCADA, EV charging, building automation or industrial controls): a lot of that knowledge transfers directly\n\nSolid Python and embedded Linux (networking, VPN, remote updates)\n\nIndustrial protocols: Modbus TCP/RTU, MQTT, REST\n\nElectrical basics: inverter, BMS, grid connection point. Bonus: PV/battery commissioning\n\nFluent German, because installers and customers speak German\n\nFresh out of university? Very welcome. Experience from your thesis, internships or side projects counts just as much as a job title.
