If this sounds exciting to you, let’s chat!\nSENIOR CLOUD APPLICATION ENGINEER\nWhat experience should you have:\n8+ years of professional web application development experience.\nExpert-level command of Go and Typescript with full-stack development experience.\nExpert-level knowledge of Google Cloud platform, including VPC, Load Balancing, and web application architecture.\nStrong background in web application architecture design, and best practices.\nExtensive experience operating cloud run applications in production environments with high availability and scalability.\nProficiency with git workflows and understanding of agile application development processes (SDLC).\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional Cloud Developer certification.\nPrevious experience in a client-facing consulting role, managing diverse stakeholders and navigating complex organizational structures.\nDirect experience supporting data science teams or building AI-driven applications.\nWhat you’ll be doing in this role:\nLead the architecture and implementation of complex web applications using Go, TypeScript (Svelte), and Python (FastAPI).\nDesign and optimize relational database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.\nArchitect and manage the deployment of web applications on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), Vertex AI, and various Google Cloud APIs.\nDevelop maintainable and user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., Svelte, HTMX)\nCollaborate with data science teams to integrate AI models into production-ready web interfaces and APIs.\nWhat you'll need to accomplish in your first year:\nActively mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth within the team.\nEstablish best practices for development.
