The Product Owner is expected to bring strong judgment, disciplined prioritization, attention to delivery quality, and the ability to keep teams aligned on scope, progress, and outcomes.\nWhat You Will Do:\nOwn and maintain the product backlog, ensuring epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria are clear, prioritized, and aligned to product strategy, customer needs, and company goals.\nLead scrum practices for the team, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily collaboration, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in partnership with engineering and scrum team members.\nPartner with engineering, design, QA, and stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements, sequencing work to maximize value delivery and team focus.\nMake day-to-day prioritization decisions across new feature development, technical enablers, customer commitments, and production issues, balancing business value, urgency, and feasibility.\nDrive defect management processes, including triage, prioritization, root-cause follow-up, and communication on severity, impact, and resolution status.\nSupport release planning and readiness by coordinating scope, validating completion against acceptance criteria, and ensuring clear communication of release content, timing, risks, and downstream impacts.\nServe as the primary point of clarity for the delivery team by answering requirement questions, removing ambiguity, and helping the team make timely decisions during the sprint.\nUse product, operational, and customer feedback data to inform backlog priorities, continuous improvement opportunities, and post-release adjustments.\nCommunicate sprint progress, backlog tradeoffs, release updates, and delivery risks clearly to stakeholders across product, technology, and business teams.\nHelp strengthen team ways of working by improving backlog hygiene, sprint predictability, release discipline, and cross-functional coordination.\nWhat You Need:\nBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or a related role supporting agile software delivery, preferably in a B2B environment.\nHands-on experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria for delivery teams.\nWorking knowledge of scrum practices and experience participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nExperience coordinating defect triage and resolution processes in partnership with engineering and QA teams.\nExperience supporting release planning, release readiness, and stakeholder communications for software deployments.\nAbility to evaluate competing priorities using customer impact, business value, technical constraints, and delivery risk.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.\nPreferred Skills\nStrong understanding of agile delivery principles and the ability to maintain a healthy, value-driven backlog.\nAbility to break down complex initiatives into clear stories, define done criteria, and support consistent sprint execution.\nExperience partnering closely with engineering and QA to manage defects, production issues, and release quality.\nComfort communicating release scope, sprint outcomes, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders in a concise and actionable way.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through across multiple workstreams and timelines.\nExperience helping teams improve delivery processes, backlog discipline, or scrum maturity is a plus.\nSuccess in This Role\nSuccess in this role is measured by the ability to keep the team focused on the highest-value work, maintain a clear and actionable backlog, support predictable sprint execution, manage defects with urgency and discipline, and communicate releases effectively to stakeholders. Actual compensation packages are individualized and determined by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, internal equity, certifications, education, qualifications, specific skill set, and Fusable’s business needs.
