This role involves implementing the industry best practice on cybersecurity in order to protect important data and systems from malicious attacks. Additionally, it is important to ensure our systems are compliant with regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nResearch and develop information security plans, policies as well as system security architectures.\nEstablish security standards and best practices for the organization.\nBe proactive in reviewing and implement new test security protocols, firewall configuration and security software.\nDevelop practical and budget-friendly solutions for cybersecurity issues.\nPerform analysis on security systems then identify vulnerabilities and create mitigation action plans.\nPerform audits and risk assessments in order to uncover potential vulnerabilities and take actions to close any vulnerabilities.\nUse various tools to perform network monitoring in order to search for irregularities and detect potential security breaches.\nRespond promptly to security breaches and provide detailed reports for management review.\nPlan and develop systems to secure data from threats, including natural disasters, through encryption and access monitoring.\nCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to configure and maintain security infrastructure, and provide cybersecurity guidance across the organization.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum 3 years' experience as Cybersecurity Engineer.\nAble to roll up your sleeves and perform hands on work and ability to implement security technical solutions.\nSecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty (preferred).\nHave in-depth knowledge about network, application and database security.\nHave in-depth knowledge of establishing security baselines for IT systems.\nGood knowledge and experience in risk assessment.\nGood knowledge about AWS security.\nHands-on experience with security tools including SIEM/XDR platforms (e.g., Wazuh, CrowdStrike), WAF/CDN security (e.g., Cloudflare), and vulnerability scanning tools.\nFamiliarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and financial regulatory requirements (Labuan FSA).\nAI-Assisted Development: Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot is essential-this is a core part of how we
