Fusemachines serves companies in industries such as retail, manufacturing, and government.\nFusemachines continues to actively pursue the mission of democratizing AI for the masses by providing high-quality AI education in underserved communities and helping organizations achieve their full potential with AI.\nType: Remote, Full-time\n Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain Playwright E2E test suites for web applications.\nCreate and maintain Maestro flows for React Native apps on iOS and Android.\nDefine and evolve the test automation framework, including structure, conventions, reusable components, and reporting.\nTranslate product requirements and user stories into test plans, test cases, and automated scenarios.\nTriage failures, debug flaky tests, and keep the suites stable and fast.\nReport defects clearly, with reproduction steps, logs, screenshots, or traces.\nCollaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to improve testability and quality practices.\nPerform targeted manual and exploratory testing where automation isn’t practical.\nMaintain test data, environments, and documentation.\nContribute to the QA strategy, including regression coverage, smoke suites, and release-readiness checks.\nMentor teammates on automation best practices and review test code.\nRequired Qualifications\n4+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on test automation.\nHands-on experience with Playwright(TypeScript/JavaScript preferred), including locators, fixtures, network mocking, parallelization, and trace debugging.\nHands-on experience with Maestrofor mobile UI automation.\nExperience testing React Nativeapps on iOS and Android, including simulators/emulators and real devices.\nProven experience designing or significantly extending an automation framework, not just writing scripts.\nSolid understanding of E2E testing, regression testing, and test design techniques.\nExperience running and maintaining automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.\nWorking knowledge of Git and pull request workflows.\nStrong debugging and analytical skills, and clear written communication.\nNice to Have\nExperience with API testing (Postman, Playwright API testing, REST/GraphQL).\nFamiliarity with other mobile tools (Detox, Appium) or device clouds (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).\nExperience with Jira or similar tools for test and defect management.\nExposure to performance, accessibility, or visual regression testing.\nUnderstanding of mobile release flows (TestFlight, Play Console, EAS/Fastlane).\nExperience in an Agile/Scrum team.\nPrior experience leading or mentoring other QA engineers.\n Fusemachines is an Equal Opportunities Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
