Sales Manager – New Business, Life Sciences

As part of our strategic growth agenda, we are looking for a Sales Manager to acquire new Life Sciences clients and expand our presence within the SAP ecosystem. This role will be reporting to the CRO and focuses on acquiring new clients and developing the SAP alliance as a sustainable source of qualified pipeline. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle from market development and executive engagement through opportunity qualification, proposal leadership, negotiation and contract closure.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

• Identify and win new clients across the Life Sciences sector, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and animal health.
• Develop and execute account-based sales strategies, including stakeholder mapping, executive outreach, and multi-threaded engagement with senior decision-makers.
• Lead the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Promote Fusion's solutions and service offerings, including SAP BTP-based innovations.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
• Represent Fusion at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
• Build and strengthen relationships with SAP account executives, partner managers, and industry leaders within the Life Sciences sector.
• Generate qualified co-sell opportunities and referral-based business through SAP partnerships.
• Position Fusion as a trusted Life Sciences transformation partner within SAP account planning and strategic client initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales with a proven track record of acquiring new clients in the life sciences industry.
• Strong understanding of the Life Sciences industry.
• Knowledge of the SAP ecosystem.
• Demonstrated success in proactive business development and complex solution selling.
• Ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders, including CIOs, CDOs, and IT leadership.
• Business fluency in German and English.
• Willingness to travel throughout the region.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network within SAP's Life Sciences organization.
• Background with a major systems integrator, consulting firm, or Big Four organization, combined with experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
