years.\n Job Title: Electrician\nLocation: Meriden, CT 06450\nDuration: 12 Months (Contract to Hire)\nshift is 7am-330pm with OT available.\nPay Rate: $38/hr on W2\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls throughout the manufacturing facility.\nSupport production equipment, utility systems, HVAC equipment, cleanroom infrastructure, and facility support systems.\nPerform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on electrical equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.\nDiagnose and resolve electrical issues involving motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, panels, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.\nSupport equipment installations, facility upgrades, and capital improvement projects.\nWork with automation, instrumentation, and controls personnel to troubleshoot integrated systems.\nConduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes, company standards, and regulatory requirements.\nRespond to equipment breakdowns and facility emergencies in a timely manner.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\nParticipate in root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required.\nSupport energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.\nFollow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and quality system requirements.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nCompletion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.\nValid Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson License required.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated industrial environment.\nStrong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and electrical safety standards.\nExperience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical systems up to 480V.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.\nExperience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work safely and effectively while adhering to Client Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and quality requirements.\nProficiency with electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, medical device, or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.\nFamiliarity with GMP, GDP, and quality management systems.\nExperience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation equipment.\nKnowledge of cleanroom operations and critical utility systems.\nOSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification.\nExperience using CMMS software such as Maximo, SAP PM, or equivalent maintenance systems.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nUnderstanding of industrial controls, instrumentation, and automation systems.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.\nAbility to work in manufacturing, warehouse, utility, and
