ROOMS is all about making the most of the space you’ve got. From rental makeovers and clever small-space ideas to affordable decorating, brilliant finds and the realities of living in a home that isn’t quite your dream home (yet), we’re here to make interiors fun, accessible and inspiring.\nWhat you'll do\nReporting to the Editor, you'll create engaging, original, video-first content for ROOMS across Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms, helping to grow our audience and establish ROOMS as a distinctive voice in interiors.\nYou’ll help develop ideas, film, present, edit and publish content that speaks directly to renters, first-time home decorators and people living in smaller spaces.\nThis is a hands-on, highly creative role with plenty of opportunities to experiment, develop new formats and become an on-camera personality for the brand.\nWhen applying, we’d love you to:\nMake us a video! Create a 30 to 60-second Reel or TikTok on the theme “One thing I’d change about my home.” We want to see your personality, creativity, presenting skills and how you bring an idea to life. Film it on your phone, edit it yourself and have fun with it.\nPitch us three ideas for videos you’d love to make for ROOMS.\nWe’re not looking for expensive equipment or polished production. We want to see your ideas, your energy and your instinct for making great social content. And don’t worry if you don’t have a huge following. We’re far more interested in what you create than how many followers you have.\nWhat you’ll bring\nExperience building and managing your own Instagram, TikTok or other social account, ideally with an engaged audience.\nExamples of videos you’ve created that have performed particularly well.\nPrevious experience creating content for a brand, publisher, business or creator.\nAn interest in photography, editing, presenting or interviewing.\nFamiliarity with social analytics and an understanding of what drives engagement and audience growth.\nMinimum Requirements\nA passion for interiors and how people really live. You’re interested in homes, decorating, shopping, design and the challenges of renting or living in a small space.\nA creative thinker. You’re full of ideas, have a good eye and know how to turn something ordinary into entertaining content.\nA genuine love of social media.
