This individual must understand how technology creates measurable business value-not simply how it works.\nTravel: Regular domestic and international travel required\nWhat You Will DoEstablish and execute Future Tech’s enterprise technology strategy in alignment with the company’s growth objectives.\nIdentify emerging technologies, market shifts, and new solution opportunities that can create competitive advantage and revenue growth.\nShape and expand Future Tech’s solutions and services portfolio across AI, HPC, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, infrastructure, lifecycle services, automation, and related technologies.\nServe as a trusted technology advisor to major commercial, federal, and global customers.\nParticipate in strategic customer meetings, executive briefings, industry events, and complex business-development opportunities.\nStrengthen executive relationships with OEMs, distributors, cloud providers, software companies, and other strategic partners.\nWork closely with sales and solution architecture teams to develop differentiated, scalable, and commercially viable customer solutions.\nHelp translate OEM roadmaps and emerging technologies into practical offerings that address customers’ business and operational challenges.\nProvide technology leadership for major proposals, strategic accounts, and complex transformation programs.\nDevelop business cases and investment priorities for new platforms, capabilities, partnerships, and services.\nBuild, mentor, and develop high-performing technical and innovation teams.\nEstablish appropriate technology governance, architecture, security, risk, and performance standards.\nRepresent Future Tech as a thought leader through customer forums, partner events, industry conferences, and executive-level communications.\nClearly communicate technology strategy, opportunities, risks, and results to executive leadership.\nRequired ExperienceSignificant executive leadership experience within the enterprise IT industry, gained on either:\nThe OEM/manufacturer side; or\nThe value-added reseller, solution provider, systems integrator, or technology services side.\nMust have served as a Chief Technology Officer or in an equivalent enterprise technology executive role in each of the candidate’s two most recent positions.\nEquivalent roles may include CIO/CTO, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, Chief Solutions Officer, or an EVP/SVP-level position with comparable company-wide technology leadership responsibility.\nDeep knowledge of the OEM, distributor, VAR, and enterprise customer ecosystem.\nDemonstrated success developing technology strategy and converting that strategy into customer value, differentiated offerings, and revenue growth.\nExperience building senior-level relationships with enterprise customers and strategic technology partners.\nBroad understanding of modern enterprise technologies, including AI, HPC, cybersecurity, cloud, data centers, networking, infrastructure, automation, and IT lifecycle services.\nExperience supporting complex enterprise or public-sector customers and navigating large, multi-stakeholder opportunities.\nStrong commercial judgment and an understanding of solution economics, recurring services, managed offerings, and partner-led go-to-market models.\nOutstanding executive presence, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.\nProven ability to lead across departments and influence teams outside the direct reporting structure.\nWillingness and ability to travel regularly based on customer, partner, and business needs.\nAbility to work full-time from Future Tech’s executive headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.\nPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.\nExperience serving customers in sectors such as aerospace, defense, government, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, education, or retail.\nExperience working with federal customers, government contractors, or regulated industries.\nEstablished relationships with major OEMs and other enterprise technology providers.\nExperience launching new technology practices, managed services, or recurring-revenue solutions.\nRecognized industry thought leadership, including conference participation, published perspectives, advisory roles, or customer executive briefings.\nThe Leadership Profile We Are SeekingThe successful candidate will combine the credibility of a technology executive with the instincts of a business builder.
