Individual visibility within the team is high, and opportunities for rapid advancement exist.\nThe qualified candidate must be willing to work under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical assistance throughout the hardware development process. The position includes a generous compensation and benefits package.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\n Design, develop, and test cryptographic embedded systems.\n Research requirements and develop product specifications according to marketing and customer needs.\n Collaborate with engineers in other disciplines of system design.\n Prepare production documentation for manufacturing and assembly.\n Write and maintain detailed functional specifications.\n Write and maintain production test procedures, fixtures, and systems.\n Requirements\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBS in electrical or electronic engineering (or similar field).\n10+ years of embedded systems design experience.\nKnowledge of circuit boards, processors, and electronic/computer hardware.\nExperience with in-circuit acceptance, functional testing, and electronic test equipment.\nExperience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.\nAbility to interpret digital electronic circuit and logic diagrams.\nGood understanding of high-speed signal integrity.\nExcellent analytical and technical skills.\nExcellent administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills.\nDesire for excellence in all results of the team and individual efforts.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervisory direction.\nSTRONGLY PREFER\nSolid knowledge of Altium Designer.\nExperience with FIPS 140-2 and/or Payment Card Industry (PCI) PTS\nKnowledge of FCC and CE design standards.\nSignal and power simulation and modeling.\nAnalog design experience.\nPower supply experience.\nDesign for test experience.\nDesign for
