This role leads the corporate networking function supporting offices, campuses, remote workforce connectivity, and internal services, while maintaining clear separation from customer-facing or product cloud networks.\nThe role combines hands-on technical leadership, people management, and vendor oversight, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance across all corporate network services.\nKey Responsibilities\nNetwork Operations & Architecture\nOwn the design, deployment, and operation of corporate LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall infrastructure\nEnsure network availability, performance, and resiliency across offices, data centers, and remote users\nLead incident response for network outages and drive root cause analysis and remediation\nMaintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures\nSecurity & Compliance\nPartner with Security, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure corporate networks meet internal security standards and audit requirements\nSupport audits and assessments (e.g., SOC, ISO, PCI adjacency) related to corporate IT environments\nImplement and enforce network segmentation, access controls, and monitoring best practices\nEnsure proper separation between corporate IT networks and other internal environments based on security, compliance, or operational needs\nPeople & Vendor Management\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers and administrators\nManage relationships with network vendors, carriers, and service providers\nOwn vendor selection, contract renewals, and service-level performance\nCoordinate with MSPs and external partners as needed\nStrategy & Planning\nDevelop and execute the corporate network roadmap aligned with business growth\nPlan capacity, redundancy, and lifecycle refreshes for network infrastructure\nEvaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to reliability, security, and cost efficiency\nParticipate in budget planning and forecasting for network services\nDocument architectural decisions, design intent, and implementation phases to ensure long-term continuity\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with IT Operations, End-User Services, Cloud/Platform teams, and Facilities\nAct as escalation point for complex or high-impact network issues\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of experience in enterprise or corporate networking roles\n2+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams\nStrong expertise in LAN/WAN, routing & switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks\nExperience working with enterprise network vendors, particularly Cisco and Palo Alto\nFamiliarity with network security principles and audit support\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting multi-site or global corporate environments\nExposure to Zero Trust or modern enterprise network architectures\nExperience partnering with security and compliance teams\nExposure to configuration management, automation, or version-controlled network documentation\nRelevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent)\nSuccess Metrics\nNetwork uptime and performance across corporate environments\nMean time to resolution for network incidents\nAudit readiness and compliance outcomes\nTeam effectiveness and operational
