PURPOSE

FWD’s Group Digital Team are responsible for designing and developing digital platforms for regional markets within FWD. The team builds new apps, services and features to drive business value.

This role provides end-to-end service, and involved in projects that involve databases and building user-facing Application; which includes working with internal and external stakeholders during the planning and development phase of projects.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Design user interactions on seller application, develop servers and databases for application functionality and coding for mobile platforms, test, and deploy mobile applications for both tablet and mobile
• Act like a domain area expert in guide and supervise other team members to write specialised code - although importantly, the Senior Full Stack Developer must be familiar with and highly skilled in all aspects of web and application development.
• Provide inputs on seller application development roadmap, working as a team lead, or as an individual on specific large scale projects related to FWD seller application
• Provide architecture design of complex multi-system solutions and services as well as carry out Mobile, web and server-side development
• Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design
• Manage cross functional stakeholders across FWD Countries and Group C-Suite Executives
• Work closely with product owner and UX/UI designer to build features that delight our users/customers to create an impactful user/customer experience
• Design and develop APIs, create servers and databases for functionality to ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile and tablet
• Influence decision making in delivering solutions that will be used across multiple platforms and languages across the APAC region focusing on seller experience
• Manage cross-regional project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• See through a project from conception to finished product.
• Stay abreast of developments in applications and programming languages in order to meet both technical and stakeholders needs.
• Experience in implementing tracking and analytics with Google Analytics tagging and setup

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years + of full stack software development experience
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Proven experience with developing front web applications, similar to ecommerce websites and integration with Headless CMS platforms.
• Startup experience preferred
• Expertise in building mobile application using React Native
• Expertise in building secure, scalable RESTFul web services
• Experience with agile development methodologies, Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience delivering multi-lingual/internationalized solutions
• Experience in implementing tracking and analytics with Google Analytics tagging and setup
• Experience with implementing and supporting Google Optimize AB testing framework on web applications

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILL

• Familiarity with modern programming languages
• Passionate about developing fast and reliable APIs
• Interested in learning new coding languages
• Experience in React Native, Node.JS, React JS, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, Ajax, JQuery preferred
• Experience with integration with headless CMS solutions is required. (i.e. Contentful, Strapi, Stroyblok etc)
• AWS and Azure or GCP experiences are advantageous
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
