experienced SAP Basis Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Basis administration, SAP S/4HANA landscapes, and SAP HANA Database Administration.\nThe consultant will be responsible for managing and supporting SAP environments, ensuring system stability, performance, availability, and smooth production operations.\nThe ideal candidate should have experience in SAP system administration, installations, upgrades, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and Application Management Support (AMS) within a global support environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister, maintain, and support SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and associated SAP systems.\n\nPerform regular system monitoring, health checks, and proactive issue resolution.\n\nManage SAP transports across environments and support application release activities.\n\nExecute SAP system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and system maintenance activities.\n\nTroubleshoot SAP Basis incidents, performance issues, and system outages.\n\nSupport SAP HANA Database Administration, including database monitoring and performance optimization.\n\nManage SAP system installations, upgrades, and support package implementations.\n\nCoordinate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to resolve technical issues.\n\nSupport high availability, backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.\n\nEnsure adherence to operational procedures, change management, security, and audit requirements.\n\nParticipate in scheduled maintenance, production deployments, and system upgrades.\n\nMaintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and system administration records.\n\nProvide support during critical business periods, planned upgrades, and project releases.\n\nCollaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to maintain stable application operations.\n\nProvide support in a 24×7 global AMS environment, including rotational shifts and night-shift coverage.\n\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents within agreed SLA timelines.\n\nWork Arrangement\nLocation: Any Deloitte Location - India\n\nWork Mode: Hybrid\n\nOffice Mandatory\n\nRequirements\nRequired Skills & Experience\n5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration.\n\nStrong experience supporting SAP S/4HANA landscapes.\n\nHands-on knowledge of SAP HANA Database Administration.\n\nExperience with SAP system installations and upgrades.\n\nPractical experience performing SAP system refreshes and client copies.\n\nExpertise in kernel upgrades and support package upgrades.\n\nStrong knowledge of SAP performance monitoring, system tuning, and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience working with SAP Transport Management System (TMS).\n\nFamiliarity with SAP Solution Manager and system monitoring tools.\n\nUnderstanding of SAP user administration and Basis-related authorizations.\n\nExperience with SAP job scheduling, system monitoring, and incident management.\n\nKnowledge of high availability, backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.\n\nUnderstanding of integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications.\n\nExperience working within AMS support models and SLA-driven environments.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience working with cloud-hosted SAP environments.\n\nExposure to SAP infrastructure administration and cross-functional production support.\n\nExperience supporting global SAP landscapes and business-critical production systems.\n\nAdditional Requirements\nWillingness to work in a hybrid arrangement with 2 days per week in the office.\n\nFlexibility to work rotational shifts, including night shifts and weekends.\n\nAvailability for planned on-call support and critical production incidents.\n\nAbility to collaborate with global infrastructure, application, and functional teams.\n\nCertifications\nNo
